Too Faced – Melted Lipsticks

Everyone loves a good lippy, but finding one you fall in love with can be a real challenge. Whether it dries out your lips, rubs off after an hour, or just entirely fades as it sets, the quest for a go-to lipstick is a tough one.

Too Face’s Melted lipsticks ($30) are the first of it’s kind that I’ve ever seen – and honestly I was totally shocked when I first tried it.

First: it’s a lipstick in a liquid formula but it doesn’t wear off like a gloss. Instead, the colour is surprisingly long-lasting and true to its shade hour after hour.

Second: it has a felt tip applicator which makes applying the colour evenly and accurately a breeze (you know how lipsticks always groove in the direction you apply them leaving a nice lopsided slant after a while?). With this cool applicator it’s as if you’re applying it for the first time – every time.

Third: the colours. Seriously. They are gorgeous, fun, bright, and girly. I love a bold lip (especially in the fall) but there are some things that don’t change – mainly that a pretty light pink will never go out of style.

Colours left to right: Metallic Tu-Tu, Candy, Melon, Frosting, Coral.

I’m melting over the Melted Lipsticks.

  1. Those are really gorgeous colours. I am always looking to try stuff, especially lipsticks and mascara but the price just kills me! Especially when 9 times out of 10 you don’t get to try it (except for Sephora, I love Sephora!) but like I said, these are gorgeous, thanks for sharing this post.

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed the review! The colours really are beautiful, but I agree they are an investment. I find with lip colours it’s worth it spending the extra $10-15 from the drug store buy. I work Candy to work today and it lasted the entire day!
