As you may know, I’m a huge advocate for shopping local. Growing up on a farm taught me the importance of investing in the local community and promoting small businesses. When you find a brand that’s making waves (or bubbles!) with bath and beauty products – it makes it just that much more fabulous!
I was so happy to meet Charissa while shopping at the Covent Garden Market’s Merry Makers Fair where local home-based businesses come together in the holiday spirit. Not only is she a mom of two little ones, wife, and kindergarten teacher – but she’s the powerhouse behind Crushed (with love). She makes all of her natural soaps, bath bombs, salt soaks with feel-good ingredients that leave you relaxed and regenerated as well as your skin feeling smooth and pampered.
What started as a way to help fund her kindergarten classroom with fresh fruit for morning snack time has blossomed into an amazing brand you can feel good about supporting.
From flavours such as hot cocoa, lavender and frosted candy cane, Crushed (with love) has a fun bath time treat for everyone. The bath bombs are packed with essential oils which give gorgeous aroma and coconut and grape seed oil leaving your skin feeling silky and repaired during this cold time of year. My personal favourite? The “Let me breathe” bomb which is infused with peppermint, eucalyptus, and lemon essential oils and epsom salts – the perfect combination to have when battling a cold. Down to the tiny flower petal details, these bombs are a sweet way to lay back and relax.
I had to take an up-close shot of this one because seriously – look how neat these bars are! Like the bath bombs, these soaps are jam packed with essential oils and nourishing ingredients. The cherry on top? Each one has exfoliating loofa laced through. Not only will the moisturizers leaving your skin feeling soft but the loofa will help smooth off rough winter skin. Two birds with one stone, and they look good enough to eat!
Needless to say, Crushed (with love) is a brand we can get behind. Be sure to check out their Facebook and Instagram for updates, details on where to buy, and above all the gorgeous daily posts on what Charissa is thinking up next!
